Habang binabasa ko 'to, parang na-i-imagine ko na parang siyang mala-pelikula ang story dahil sa pagkakasulat ng mga detalye. Kung tutuusin ay para talagang tinadha sina Cinderella at Rave na magkita para sila ang magpapatuloy ng naudlot na pagmamahalan ng kani-kanilang grandparents. Ito din ang first time ko na makabasa ng book na sinulat ni Victoria Amor at ito na din ang simula ng pagsubaybay ko sa mga librong sinulat at ire-release pa lamang niya.

A Romance Novel by Heart Yngrid

Ito ang kauna-unahang libro na nabasa ko ni Heart Yngrid at hindi ko talaga in-expect na sobrang magugustuhan ko ito. Malamang na madami ang naka-relate sa story ni Evelyn na unrequited love/ hopelessly waiting na mapansin ng taong gusto mo and sa dulo e pareho lang pala kayo ng nararamdaman sa isa't isa. Dahil din sa book na ito ay isa na ang author na 'to sa susubaybayan ko ang mga libro.

Sabi ng friend/colleague ng sister ko ay nakakaiyak daw ang story nito. Naiyak nga ako sa kakatawa lalung-lalo na dun sa beginning ng bawat chapter. Dati ko pa talaga gustong basahin ito kasi nagtataka ako dahil sa laging kasama siya sa bestseller list. So nung nagkaroon ng chance na mabasa ko 'to, yun at di talaga ako nagsisi. Sobrang ganda at nakaka-aliw kasi ang story ni Yulli na pinag-aagawan ng dalawang boylet. Isama pa ang kuwelang sidekick niya na si Inday sa adventures ni Yulli at talagang super laugh trip ang mga eksena.

I definitely enjoyed reading this book especially the bible verses that Alex mentioned especially Romans 8:18 and Ecclesiastes 3:1. While reading this, I was imagining that Alex was the one reading it to me. It was like I became close to her through this book because of the way she wrote it.

Just like what other reviewers mentioned, a lot of us knew those bits of advice already and it's just that the author reminded us of them. Now that I've finally read this, I'm thinking of sending a copy of this book to my friend in Dubai who broke up with her ex but still haven't finally move on yet she looks for a rebound recently.

I received a free copy of this book through 700 Club Asia. This is very helpful especially for young professionals who struggle with managing their money. The stories included in this book are not only interesting to read but also quite inspirational. If you are looking for something that can be read in one seating and can you help with your finances and faith, you should try to read this paperback.

700 Club Asia sent me a free copy of this book. This paperback is intended particularly for young adults and to anyone who wants to be a leader in their field; may it be on school, work or even for those who want to lead an organization. The author tackles his points like he's just talking to you as a friend. He also used superheroes as his examples so readers can easily relate to what he was trying to convey. I highly recommend this to anyone who aspires to be a future leader, especially to our youth today.

Dalisay na Ligaya by Victoria Amor

Hindi ko pa nababasa ang unang book sa series na ito na "Ligayang Dalisay" ni Vanessa. Ito kasi ang una kong nakita sa bookstore at wala ang unang book noong time na binili ko 'to. Pero kahit na hindi ko pa nababasa ang naturang libro ay hindi naman ako nahirapan na baka may mga detalye sa unang book na dapat kong malaman. Sa latter part ng book ay nalaman ko na ang kambal ay parang poles apart sa personality dahil kung si Ligaya ay may bubbly personality, si Dalisay naman ay may pagka-mahinhin at bookworm.

Medyo nahabaan lang din ako sa part kung saan ay nasa pangangalaga ni Darius si Dalisay. Feeling ko kasi ay parang dragging scenes yun sa book dahil sa naghihintay ako na kailan ba magkakaroon ng action packed scenes. Kaso sa dulo lang nagkaroon nung hinihintay ko at parang napaka-ikli lang. Halos parang wala ngang ginawa ang kambal noong time na yun dahil sa nagtago lang sila at parang naghintay lang na ma-save.

Kung nagkaroon ng mas madami-daming action-packed scenes na hinahanap ko ay baka nabigyan ko pa ito ng rating na perfect 5 stars.

Tabi Po: Isyu 2 by Mervin Malonzo

The second volume of Tabi po continues the story of the aswangs Elias, Tasyo and Sabel during the Spanish colonization in the Philippines. While he was seeking food, Elias has finally met the other aswangs in town. Tasyo and Sabel helped Elias adjust; they also serve as his mentor on how to live with ordinary people without revealing their true persona.

This graphic novel is intended for adult readers only because of the explicit illustrations such as the rape scenes of Salome and the way how aswangs eat their victims. However, if you are in legal age and likes to read about mythical creatures, Tapi Po: Isyu 2 is a great recommendation for your next read. The comic series is set in Filipino language and it's unknown whether the author will publish an English version soon.

Tabi Po: Isyu 1 by Mervin Malonzo

Tabi Po is a Filipino graphic novel written and illustrated by Mervin Malonzo. It is about the story of Aswangs, a flesh-eating, and shapeshifter individuals during the time of the Spanish colonization in the Philippines.

Aswang is one of the famous mythical beings in the Philippines folklore. It was said that aswang and other similar creatures were made up by the Spanish friars to instill fear among the Filipinos, notably the natives, so they can spread the Catholic doctrine in the country.

Both the story and the drawings are cleverly thought and plan; readers will enjoy this extraordinary graphic novel, even if you're not entirely fascinated with myths and folklore.
