MY RATING: I like how this new version of Archie comics has a different take on the story of Archie, Betty and Veronica. Fans of this comics series are familiar of how Veronica and her family moved to Riverdale when she was still around 10 or below. But in this new version, the story shows that Veronica moved there in her teens. I like how this new version of Archie comics has a different take on the story of Archie, Betty and Veronica. But in this new version, the story shows that Veronica moved there in her teens.This first issue also present that Archie and Betty are already a couple but just broke up recently. Later, there's a buzz that there's new girl in town and looks like Archie is trying to move on by trying to get to know who this girl is. This version of Archie is like a mature type compared to the funny and light comic version we knew. Fans of Archie, like me, will definitely enjoy the awesome illustrations as well as the story of this. Looking forward on reading the succeeding issues of this new version.    |
